Burton Badger Rescue is a volunteer-based service dedicated to supporting badgers in the Burton-on-Trent area and surrounding communities including Derby, Ashbourne and Uttoxeter.
As an independent non-profit, Burton Badger Rescue works closely with members of the public, businesses, the police and other organisations to ensure the safety and well being of these legally protected animals.
Burton is an area that includes two zones which have been subjected to years of ineffective badger culling. Burton Badger Rescue is dedicated to monitoring and supporting the badger populations in these vulnerable areas to help them recover and flourish.
